Athene's use of sub-processors
Athene utilizes several providers that process personal data on our behalf. In cases where Athene acts as a data processor for our customers, these providers will be considered sub-processors.
Since Athene operates as a data processor for a significant number of customers, we generally rely on a general authorization for the use of sub-processors. Any changes to our use of sub-processors will be communicated to our customers by updating the information on this page. This is regulated in the data processing agreement we enter into with the customer.
Providers that process personal data on behalf of Athene must document robust privacy and information security practices. We enter into data processing agreements with all providers, allowing us to ensure they meet GDPR requirements.
